Is treatment suitable even though I have had previous surgery? 

Of course this depends on the surgery, but in most cases the answer is yes. Ensure that you state any surgery you have had on your new patient questionnaire and when your chiropractor asks you about your past medical history. Your chiropractor will discuss any questions or concerns with you before you receive any treatment.

Is treatment suitable during pregnancy?

Back pain is very common during pregnancy. With modified treatment positions it is both safe and effective to have chiropractic treatment throughout the term of your pregnancy, making it more comfortable and enjoyable.

How soon will I feel better?

Many patients report feeling more mobile and a sense of increased well-being immediately after treatment. There are exceptions and it is possible that your pain will ‘get worse before it gets better’. If chiropractic care is going to be successful for you, you should expect to start feeling improvement within a few weeks.

At North End Chiropractic Clinic we strive to ensure same-day appointments can be offered, as well as offering appointments later in the day. Where a same-day appointment cannot be arranged we will do our utmost to see you as soon as possible, usually next day.

Is treatment safe?

Chiropractic is remarkably safe when carried out by a suitably qualified practitioner. Your chiropractor will, of course discuss any risks of your treatment with you, and will be happy answer any questions or concerns you have.
